Meier von Embrach ZH

Jacob Weinmann and Veronica Meyer who married 8 Feb 1701 in Hassloch, Bad Duerkheim, Germany are my 6xgreatgrandparents. Jacob Weinmann is described as being from Zürich, Switzerland but no village. Veronica is described as the daughter of Burkhard Meyer (Meier) from Embrach, Zürich, Switzerland. I have found mention of a Burkhard Meier who married Elisabeth Fäsi 12 Mar 1661 in Embrach. Also who married Anna Wegmann 24 Jun 1679 in Embrach.
Given Veronica's marriage date Elisabeth is the most likely mother.
Does anyone have any more information on this couple or the Meier or Fäsi families of Embrach?

Let me start with a technical comment: in the Swiss forums we discuss single families (definded by name and place of citizenship) only in any thread - I have consequently renamed this thread. Fäsi should be discussed in a separate thread - these threads can be linked to each other. It obviously is correct to metion wedding partners - otherwise there could not be any links.

Now for your question:
Veronica Meyer marries in 1701 - so she will most likely be born within 1660-1680 (if she later had children).
Her father was a Burkhard Meyer of Embrach: actually Meier (spelling today) as well as Fäsi were old citizens of Embrach.
You found a Burkhard Meyer, ooI 1661 Elisabeth Fäsi, ooII 1679 Anna Wegmann.
If this Burkard Meyer actually is Veronica's father, both his wifes are potentially her mother.

The only way to go ahead is to check the church records. Embrach church records have been filmed and digitised by the Mormons and can be viewed in their Familiy History Centres.
