Dätwiler in Schöftland AG

Hello

It's my first research in Switzerland and my first question here.
I am looking for a church record about the mariage between Jacob DÄTWILER and Anna HEFFLIGER in Schöftland on 19/04/1675.
I don't know if it is possible to find such a record online

Hi Thierry,

Unfortunately, you 'chose' one of the most unfavorable cantons of Switzerland! With the exception of a few old cities, the microfilms of the church records are only in the State Archives in Aarau, not even available from FamilySearch, and nothing digitized and online. Furthermore, it's difficult to find a volunteer in this canton because the usage of the microfilms in the Archives is charged.

However, the genealogist Julius Billeter heavily researched the Dätwyler family from Schöftland. You might therefore contact the GHGRB as indicated in my link above.

Alternatively, you could also contact the State Archives in Aarau and explain them that you live far away and ask them for a copy of the marriage record.
