Laut Familiennamenbuch sind Risse seit vor 1800 in Ferpicloz sowie La Roche (beide FR) verbürgert; im 19. Jahrhundert liess sich eine Linie aus La Roche in Pont-la-Ville FR einbürgern, 1936 in Genève. Das sind dann schon alle Bürgerrechte (im Jahre 1962).

Weitere Hinweise sind leider nicht möglich, solange in der Frage keinerlei Hinweise auf den interessierenden Zeitraum gegeben werden.

Francois Calixte Risse who was born in 1867 in la Roche
Marie Sidonie Brodard who was born in 1876 in La Roche

They moved to France around 1898-1899.

Could you help me to get any documents ?

Let start with some organisational remarks: we discuss only single families (defined by name and citizenship) in each given topic - but all discussions on this family should take place in the same topic. Consequently I have merged your post with the existing (though rather old) topic on Risse. From this follows that only Risse should be discussed in this topic.

Am I correct in assuming tha Francois Calixte Risse and Marie Sidonie Brodard got married? Even then a new topic on Brodard should be started. In case of marriage these two topics can then be linked to each other.

This may sound a bit complicated, but is important if we want to maintain some structure in our discussions ... and I'll help you with that.

Vous pouvez commencé vos recherches dans le recensement de la population de 1870 et 1880 que vous trouverez chez familysearch (voir Gruyère). En 1870 j'ai seulement trouvé un possible François Risse à La Roche (page 164).
