Hofer von Etziken SO

Hi, this is my first post on this forum. I do not speak German. In fact, I'm living near Liege (Belgium) and I have ancestors who were born in Switzerland, precisely in ETZIKEN and AESCHI. Their names: Joseph Johann HOFER (Etziken +/-1815 - Etziken after 1888) and Anna Maria MISTELI (Aeschi about 1820 - Etziken before 1888). Somebody is there any info?

Thank you for the thread but I know that there are many Misteli in Aeschi (see in family search.com) but unfortunately I don't have her birth date exactly. So to live in Belgium and making research in Switzerland is not very easy. In fact, the Archives of Canton of Solothurn won't help me, so I try to have response on this forum.

Hello, I did the family tree on Familysearch for a colleague.

There I found a Joseph Hofer born in 1811 and Anna Maria Misteli born in 1813.
The two married on February 19 February 1838 in Aeschi, Solothurn. Both come from Etzikon, Solothurn.

I also found a Joachim Hofer born in 1791 from the canton of Thurgau who got married in Liège.
