She is born 17. aug 1550 at Oettingen Pfalz, Schwaben, Bayern, Germany.
Some places she is said to be 1 of the ca 8 children to Ludwig Graf von Oettingen and Margarethe Grafin Lutzelstein.
But she is the only of the evt brothers and sisters with onother family name.

She is said to be married to Gerhard von Krogh also born 1550.
Her son Georg von Krogh is born 1580 in Lyba, Germany
They should have gone to Norway

She is also said married to Christoph von Platen.

Being in direct line with her via the von Krogh family, I would be thankfull to know something about her and her life.

Do somebody know where to find more information ?

she married first: Christoph v. Puechheim he died 6.10.1594 in Wien

All (15) children of Ludwig XVI v. Ött.-Ött. from 3 marriages
have the last name: von Oettingen-Oettingen

I don`t think there is a child born 17.8.1550 - as the next older child was born 11.12.1549.

The "Nathional Archiv" informed me that is like You say.
The parents of Margareta von Wittmar are unknown.
