Via the Mormon website, his father is mentioned as: Bernardus Jannewers. How can I find out more regarding the parents of Anton Jannewers/Ewers? I have written to the church for information, but no reply so far. Is anybody living close to that church in Boke, and is it possible to check the church records for more information? I have done an email to Boke. Antonn Ewers's son Joseph Johann Ewers married to Agnes Kruse are my Ancestors. Their son was my great grandfather who married a Dutch girl. Out of that marriage, our grandfather was born. We lived in Holland before too, but my husband and I migrated with our 2 children in 1974 to Australia. That is the connection with Australia. In Holland we have no living relatives on the Ewers side anymore. And I have a lot of information received from various archives in Germany. Just the connection need to be made with Ancestors from Antonn Ewers, and I would be over the moon!!
