Please excuse my using English, but my German language is very bad. I am searching for records of birth, baptism, marriage and death for my HALBIG/HELBIG ancestors, supposedly from Reiterswiesen. They came to USA about 1850 or a little earlier. The LDS has no microfilms for this area of Unterfranken, and I have found no other source for these records. The archives that are online do not have them. Other than hiring a professional to go to the archives for me, is there any other way to find these records? Thank you for any advice.
