Hello,

Could anyone out there provide any additional information about a man (first name unknown) called Suss, born 15.01.1905 in Brunnen, Switzerland or about Hans-franz Elmiger born, 29 July 1896 in Lucerne? I know that Elmiger is related to the Pfyffer von Altishofen family (his mother was Georgina PvA, daughter of Max Pva; his uncle was Hans PvA). It's Suss I am particularly interested in--but I would be very grateful for any additional information about Suss, Elmiger, or Hans PvA. They were all associated, I believe, with the Hotel Lucerne and worked in the luxury hotel industry. Thank you! Now for your question: the name you are looking for (Suss) will most likely be spelled Süss (with umlaut) in Switzerland. They hold citizenship in two communities of canton Luzern since before 1800: Kriens and Ruswil.
