Does anyone know the city of origin of the Batdorf family of Nordrhein-Westfalen? Johannes Jakob Batdorf was born about 1508, died about 1587. His wife, Martha Elizabeth Welk, was born about 1509 in Westphalen, Germany. Their son, Johannes Jacob Batdorf, born 1534 was a minister. He died about 1584. His wife was Anna Margaretha Gruenke. Thanks.
