[manus]

Ich suche die Eltern von Jean Louis Francois Bühlmann.

Geb. ca. 1839 (Family Search Schweiz), verstorben 2. Quartal 1908 Elham Kent England.

Er war mit Johanna Maria Hubertina Bretz verheiratet, im dritten Quartal 1864 Kensington Middlesex England.

Johanna kommt aus Aachen Deutschland 3-02-1839, gestorben 17-11-1861 Folkestone Kent England.

Sie hatten drei (vier) Kinder.

Hello Herman,

somehow I had missed your post at the time .

If you check the Register of Swiss Surnames, you'll find that Bühlman is a rather widespread name: 40 places of citizenship since before 1800 (indicated by an "a") in cantons AG, BE, LU, SG. Without additional information this is close to looking for the needle in the heystack. If you want to give it a try, church records of BE and LU (the main cantons für Bühlmann) are online, also for SG - but not for AG.

Or have you found additional info on the origin since your post?
