Je recherche les nom des parents de Jacob Baumann né à Hirzel vers l'année 1651 et décédé à Ste Marie aux Mines le 30/11/1703. Merci de votre aide.

Peut-être il s'agit de Jacob Baumann, baptisé le 13 juillet 1656 à Hirzel, fils de Hans Rudolf Baumann et Barbara Hürlimann, marié avec Barbara Syfrig le 14 mars 1694 (source: familysearch.org)?

Je te remercie de la réponse que tu m'as faite. Je n'avais pas cherché à cette date sur Familysearch.org, mais il est possible qu'il s'agisse bien de ce Jacob Baumann. Je vais essayer de me procurer l'acte. Merci encore.

I am Mel Bowman from Palmyra, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, US.

I am searchiung for the origin of my immigrant 5x grandfather, Johannes Bauman. He probably came to America on the ship Robert and Alice last from Rotterdam.

I found no record of his parents or birth place and Birth date.Probably 1700 -1725. The only written family record is in his bible that he came to America from Switzerland.

After 10 yrars of searching, I started the Bauman yDNA project at FTDNA for Bowman/Bauman/Baumann/Buman of Swiss birth.

There are 80 members in the project, but only one from Swiszerland.
The good news is my Swiss cousin from Hirzel and I closely match DNA. His stemmbaum is attached to the book:
Chronik der Familie Baumann Aus Der Durrenmoos,Die Erlebnisse der Familie Von 1393 bis 1912, Published in Zurich 1913.

I am searching for Baumanns of Switzerland who continue to research this Baumann line from Uly Buman, 1383.
