Geiser von Langenthal BE

Greetings!
I am looking for help to read one word in the 1873 baptism of Emma Geiser, daughter of Carl Friedrich Geiser v. Langenthal and Emma Gessner which took place in Neumünster Zürich.
The word I'm having difficulty with is in the column: Taufzeugen - the first witness Joh. Friedrich Geiser -----v. Langenthal.
It looks to me like the word starts with "z" but after that I'm lost. I do read the letter "v" at the end of the word. However the pastor seems to have attached the letter "v" [von] to the word before it. See also the third witness: Fr. Charlotte Hafter – Geßnerv. Weinfelden
The image can be viewed at https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/epaper/PRD ... tml?pn=235
Many thanks
Vielen Dank
Lis

I read "zu Linde" (not sure about the Linde) = living in Linde.
Geßnerv. is sloppy writing - should be Geßner v.

Die Taufe der Emma Elisabeth Charlotte Geiser wurde in Langenthal auch notiert (Taufrodel 11, Seite 261 / siehe Anhang)
Der erste Taufzeuge war demnach ein Bruder des Vaters.

Hello Lis,

C. F. Geiser was a mathematician known far beyond the borders of Switzerland. But you've probably already read that.
I also learned some of his fundamental theorems - but that was quite a while ago.

Peter

There is also a short biography (in German) on https://hls-dhs-dss.ch/de/articles/031355/ - mentioning that he married in 1872 Emma Gessner, daughter of Eduard Gessner.

Thank you all for your helpful comments!
Mit Hilfe kan ich etwas Deutsch lesen.
I am learning a lot about my Swiss ancestors with the help of this discussion forum.
Peter, what a nice connection with C. F. Geiser. Mathematics was not one of my strong subjects.
Mit Grüßen aus Australien.
Lis
