Why am I not receiving any notifications?

One of the basic functions of the forum is that all authors who have contributed to a topic are informed of new posts by e-mail. This works fully automatically and so far no malfunctions have been observed.
Unfortunately, it happens from time to time that these notifications are not delivered, but are blocked by email providers: this is currently happening with gmail. What can forum members do?
The only option is to occasionally check the topics of interest yourself. The most convenient method is to go to your profile (click on your alias at the top right of the screen - then select "Profile"). There you can use "Search user's posts" to list your own posts in chronological order (newest first) - select one - and check whether there have been any newer posts.
