GENEAL-FORUM

Version française ci-dessous

I am writing from the USA in regards to my research of the Dau'Jourd'Hui family, originally from France, settling in St. Gallen SG supposedly after fleeing France during either the French Revolution or the Huguenot persecution of the French nobility (the Dau'Jourd'Hui family was supposedly French nobility).

I have no information on what region of France the family was supposedly from, so I cannot ask any specifics. I am asking, however, if anyone has any general information about the Dau'Jourd'Hui family, if it is generally a known family of the 1700's or generally known that the family resided in a particular region.

Any information on the family would be most appreciated.
