Good afternoon,

I would appreciate knowing a very good genealogical forum (similar to this) for Spain.
I am trying to help a good friend to find information about their great grandfather from Cartujas.
I am aware that the Order of the Cartujos is a contemplative order of the Catholic Church, but I don't know if there is also a region in Spain with that name.

Any information will be very appreciated,

Hello Ana, I am not aware of a discussion group for Spain. But, I would like to mention the website of the Mormon Church: FamilySearch.org. There is no cost, but they do want a researcher to register first. Under their main heading, there is a SEARCH heading, which can be selected. Scroll down to Research Wiki and select that. Hopefully, this information will give you a start in your research.

You will quickly learn that a location in Spain is most helpful, so hopefully your friend can provide you with that.
