Oberzell[e], Sachsen

I am looking for Oberzelle or Oberzell, Sachsen, the birth place of my great-great grandmother (born June 1850). This is according to the Lutheran baptismal certificates of her children baptized in NYC between 1873-1886.
Originally, I wrote to the Landeskirchenarchiv in Dresden and their reply was: no Oberzelle in Saxonia, but a place Zell in Aue.
While waiting for the (above) response, someone said that the correct spelling was Oberzella in Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia (and that Oberzella had been annexed to Vacha). I wrote to the pastor in Vacha, and the reply was: 1) they did not find her in their records; 2) Oberzelle as not the same as Oberzella, and suggested to look in Saxonia.
I understand the confusion with the Sachsen's, but believe this place is in Sachsen because her husband's place of birth (Hohenhameln, Hannover) is spelled correctly and I have found his records. Perhaps the name Oberzell[e] has changed, and I am wondering if anyone can help ~ Or does Zell in Aue seem correct.
Thank you!
